A giant leap forward

After 2 years, 6 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 7 hours and 14 minutes we finally decided on the RV vehicle we will be purchasing: A Cedar Creek 5th wheel, 40 feet long, 13 feet high, 8 feet wide, and weights 8 tons.

The door is open, come on in.

It has a king size bed, full shower, 18 CF refrigerator, microwave and oven, 46″ HD TV, two la-z-boy recliners, sleep sofa, kitchen table with 4 chairs, 2 air conditioners, and a central vacuum system.

Next thing we need to do is buy a truck to pull it. Because of its weight, trucks are limited. More than likely we will buy a 350 Ford pickup.

..

Ford 350…..

After we make a decision on the truck, color being most important thing, place the orders within the next 60 days to take delivery just after the new year. Then off we go.

  2. Hello, I saw a recent blog post of yours and your rv turns out to be the same as ours I believe. We have a 36ckts cedar creek. I actually saw your picture of the inverter and battery bay and had never seen other rvs have the inverter directly under the hydraulic fluid resevoir. The only reason we knew this could be an issue is because our resevoir had a leak, mechanic over filled it, and then it ruined the inverter. Have you had any issues with the slides on your rv? We had never seen an issue like that before.
