Bored In Ponchatoula, Louisiana

Day 1208

Since we have been at this campground 7 times, I am running out of new sites to see. So what do we do? Gamble.

Drove just over the Mississippi line to the Silver Slipper Casino.

Now, I can not just stay home and be bored, but I can stay home and be bored broke.

Actually, not that bored. There are many activities at the campground we are located, but I am anxious to get back on the road.

  1. Yes, I still get them. He is hilarious. We are having lunch with them sometime in the next few weeks.

  2. I can see where it could become the same ol’, same ol’, A warm pool (not the hot tub) would have made a big difference for me. I remember thinking ‘when do we get time to relax?’ 🙂 I would love to spend a couple weeks with these friends I came to love – you, too. But complications to life in Ptld is keeping me home for awhile. Miss you guys. Playing table games with you was such fun!

  3. Good Morning, Steven & Barbara! I’ve been thinking about you two since I arrived in FL on 1/15 and had hoped you’d be able to travel this direction before I return to MD on 3/1. We’ve played several rounds of Bridge while here, and know you would’ve enjoyed playing with us, too. Take care as I hope you’re “on the road again”, soon!! Anne

    1. I would love to, but having committed to the autotrain, I’m only heading north and south!! I do apologize for not having connected with you when you were in Harford County. It did sound like you were busy while there. Even our friend, Ruth, had shown interest in seeing you as I think she’s on your blog. I hope 2020 will be a better year for you, and hopefully, our travelling paths will cross sooner than later. 7 NO Trump!!
